Crisp Cusine is driven to Create Culinary Culture. Far beyond simply preparing and consuming food, we seek to shape and influence the culinary identity of our communities. A creative exploration of history, geography, and agriculture.
Combining unique practices with time-honoured traditions, we create dining experiences that contribute to the growth and evolution of our shared culture.
Born and raised in Vancouver, from Costa Rican heritage, Mark’s love of cooking began in childhood. He could often be found in the kitchen, helping his mom and making empanadas for his family.
Working in the kitchen forged his core values of hard work, quality ingredients, fair value, and loyalty. Values that he still lives by today and brings to every dish he cooks.

We hosted our friends as a thank you for their help renovating our condo, and it was such a lovely evening. The food was incredible and Chef Mark is super personable and friendly! He’s very professional and efficient and it’s so nice not having dishes to clean up after!
